This web site has been created as a clearing house and display gallery for photos of the paranormal.

It is not a site owned or setup by a professional photographer or debunker. I am just a normal person who was almost hoaxed and became interested in the examination and investigation of paranormal photos. I have developed (no pun intended) my own methods for examining and enhancing photos that may not be well accepted by some but have proved to be useful. For a detailed example of this process see the link entitled, "Ghostly Image Analysis".

Now to address the question of my credibility. I am a retired Correctional Officer with twenty five years of dealing with some of the most dangerous criminals in the Canadian Correctional system. My last ten years were spent in the Regional Treatment Center at Kingston Penitentiary, which is a psychiatric hospital, where I worked exclusively with the chronic mentally ill and those in immediate crisis. I have developed an ingrained attitude of, "Only believe half of what you see and none of what you hear." This may sound callous to some but when it is installed on the level of instinct it becomes a very useful tool when conducting an investigation. I was a Team Leader for the Institutional Emergency Response Team (prison equivalent to a SWAT team) for five years and I am a qualified computer repair technician. I am also a trained videographer and gun smith. I have conducted many interviews and interrogations over the years and would not hesitate to call myself a                   professional investigator.
